Why everyone keeps coming back.

Phở Lovers stands as a vibrant gem in Sunnyvale for enthusiasts of authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Specializing in traditional Phở and an array of Vietnamese specialties, this restaurant invites you to savor the vivid flavors and rich culinary heritage of Vietnam in every bite.

From the moment you step into Phở Lovers, you’ll be greeted by an inviting ambiance that strikes a balance between casual comfort and a focused culinary experience. The aroma of simmering broth and herbs creates an immediate sense of warmth and anticipation.

The menu is a celebration of classic Vietnamese fare thoughtfully curated for a broad palate. Among the standout dishes are the generous Com Dia (Rice Plates), such as the Com Thi Nuong—grilled pork served with steamed rice, fresh vegetables, and their signature house sauce, each mouthful bursting with balanced savory flavors and subtle freshness. The Com Chien Duong Chau is a flavorful fried rice medley featuring shrimp and char siu pork, a hearty and satisfying choice.

Vermicelli lovers will appreciate the intricate flavors found in the Bun Cha Gio Bo Hanh Huong Nuong, where grilled rolled beef wrapped with onion, paired with crisp egg rolls and fresh vermicelli salad, delivers a harmony of textures and tastes that dance on the palate. The Banh Xeo, a delicate Vietnamese crepe filled with shrimp, lean pork, beansprouts, and onion, provides a crisp, savory bite complemented by vibrant salad on the side.

No Vietnamese meal is complete without an authentic beverage, and Phở Lovers impresses here too. The rich, creamy Ca Phe Sua Da (Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk) offers a perfect sweet and robust finish. For a refreshing twist, their Soda Chanh options—be it lemonade, salted plum, or salted lemon with carbonated water—deliver a zesty, revitalizing lift.

Customers praise Phở Lovers for both its generous portions and authentic tastes. Isabel F. highlights the delicious vegan options with impressive portion sizes, noting the satisfying spice in the vegan noodle soup. Kyung admires the freshness across the menu, especially the vegetarian platter and flavour-packed pho servings that leave you satisfied without feeling thirsty. Vin Paunan offers a heartfelt nod to the quality, comparing the beloved Bun Cha to that found in Hanoi and commending the skillful use of local produce and meats to recreate authentic Vietnamese flavors.

While some diners mention that the service can be variable and the parking situation a bit challenging on busy days, the overall experience centers on the food’s genuine quality and taste. One visitor, YZ Lee, pointed out a slight discomfort with a detergent smell, though still confirmed the authenticity and goodness of the cuisine. Jane Xin-LeBlanc calls out the fried spring rolls as “the best I have ever had,” praising Phở Lovers’ ability to bring exceptional taste and texture to traditional dishes.

For those craving a soulful Vietnamese meal in Sunnyvale, Phở Lovers is a feast for the senses—where each dish is a conversation between fresh, quality ingredients and time-honored culinary traditions. It’s a destination that beckons anyone passionate about Vietnamese food or simply looking to explore the rich, comforting flavors that only expertly prepared phở and accompanying dishes can offer.

Vegan options were delicious. I ordered the spicy vegan noodle soup and my boyfriend got the vegan vermicelli. Portion sizes were huge! I really enjoyed my meal. Rating 4 stars because we weren’t really attended to after food was brought out. Wish they would’ve at least refilled our waters.

The food is fresh. We loved all the rolls. I always get the vegetarian platter. The pho is tasty. Doesn't leave you so thirsty. Gives you lots of Noodles. Parking can be a disaster and hard to find on busy days. There are only a few slots reserved for the restaurant. The rest belongs to other businesses so keep that in mind. The service can be good or slow. Just depends.

I smelled a smell of pungent detergent in the restaurant, and that made our dining experience not so pleasant. However, food are good and authentic.

We ordered fried spring rolls for appetizer - they taste so good, actually the best I have ever had. Phos are pretty good. My husband also liked his spicy chicken rice dish.

Very good Buncha! I have always tried comparing this dish wherever I go to the one I had in Hanoi and this one is by far the best Again, something in the soil in Cali. The produce and meat taste really good. Respect to the people who can take advantage of this and make tasty food out of it.

The Food here is so good and the service was friendly and really fast. I was thrown off by how quickly the food came out. But the quality was great. No complaints at all. The shrimp cake was so crispy and my favorite. Also the little soup that came with the meal was so good. Very light but tasty. We loved that the rice came out in a little heart shape. We had the chicken and the lemongrass chicken..the chicken was seasoned perfectly..the lemongrass was spicy. But all good. We will definitely want to go back. Our server Diana was really nice

Love their pho - it's soo good. definitely my favorite in the area. Comes out fresh and quick - the large size is a huge portion! There is some parking right in front but it can be tricky to get a spot, so it's easiest to park on the street across from it.

Decent Vietnamese restaurant experience. Soup was good with a generous portion of noodles, but only a few slices of beef. Imperial rolls were good, but on the small size. Fast and friendly service. Parking lot is a messy situation, as every business in the shopping plaza has their own dedicated parking spots, so it could be very hard to find a spot.
